Thomas J. Crocker

CEO/Managing Partner

Thomas J. Crocker is the firm’s founder and responsible for overall management. He previously was CEO of CRT Properties and an elected member of that publicly traded REIT from March 2000 through its sale to a private investor in September 2005. CRT Properties (NYSE:CRO) focused on office assets primarily in the southeastern United States, with a total enterprise value of approximately $1.8 billion. Before joining CRT Properties, Mr. Crocker was a founder and CEO of Crocker Realty Trust Inc., a private office REIT with a portfolio of 6.2 million sq.ft. Established in 1996, that company grew to become one of the southeastern United State’s largest office REITs, with regional offices in Atlanta, Memphis and Charlotte. Mr. Crocker first entered the REIT market in 1993, establishing Crocker Realty Investors, Inc., the first and at the time, the only publicly traded blind pool REIT.

Under his leadership, these companies have attracted major financial partners and been widely recognized for their performance, including CRT Properties being named as 2004 REIT of the Year by Real Estate Finance & Investment.

Mr. Crocker began investing in southeastern United States real estate in 1986 and quickly established himself as a premier office developer in South Florida with projects including corporate headquarters for W.R. Grace, Office Depot, Scott Paper and Sunbeam Corporation. He also developed two mixed-use developments in Boca Raton, Florida, Crocker Center and Mizner Park. These projects became national models for creating dynamic live, work, play environments in a traditionally suburban market. Mr. Crocker holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami.
