Crocker Partners, headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, is a full service commercial
real estate firm with wide ranging expertise in investment management including acquisitions, leasing, property management, capital markets, new construction and redevelopment. The company, established in 2005, grew from the principals' foundation of success as real estate market leaders, with an average of 21 years of experience in the industry.
Crocker's top executives have led a series of both privately held and NYSE-listed Real Estate Investment Trusts known for their quality orientation, marketshaping projects and strong financial performance. They have been responsible for developing nearly 2 million square feet of office space and managing commercial real estate portfolios totaling more than 16 million square feet simultaneously throughout the southeastern United States. Representing numerous
institutional real estate investors, they have directed investments encompassing approximately 24 million square feet overall.
Thomas J. Crocker
CEO
Mr. Crocker is the firm's founder and responsible for overall management. He previously was CEO of
CRT Properties and an elected member of that publicly traded REIT from March 2000 through its sale
to a private investor in September 2005. CRT Properties (NYSE:CRO) focused on office assets primarily
in the southeastern United States, with a total enterprise value of approximately $1.8 billion.
Before joining CRT Properties, Mr. Crocker was a founder and CEO of Crocker Realty Trust Inc., a
private office REIT with a 6.2 million square foot portfolio. Established in 1996, that company grew
to become one of the southeastern United State's largest office-based REITs, with regional offices in
Atlanta, Memphis and Charlotte. Mr. Crocker first entered the REIT market in 1993, establishing
Crocker Realty Investors, Inc., the first and at the time, the only publicly traded blind
pool REIT.
Under his leadership, these companies have attracted major financial partners and been widely recognized
for their performance, including CRT Properties being named as 2004 REIT of the Year by Real
Estate Finance & Investment.
Mr. Crocker began investing in southeastern United States real estate in 1986 and quickly established
himself as a premier office developer in South Florida with projects including corporate headquarters
for W.R. Grace, Office Depot, Scott Paper and Sunbeam Corporation. He also developed two mixed-use
developments in Boca Raton, Florida, Crocker Center and Mizner Park. These projects became national
models for creating dynamic live, work, play environments in a traditionally suburban market.
Mr. Crocker holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami. He is a
member of the Board of Trustees for InnKeepers USA. He is also a board member of the National
Conference for Community & Justice.
Thomas C. Brockwell
Executive Vice President
Mr. Brockwell oversees all aspects of investments and capital markets for the company. He previously
served as Executive Vice President of CRT Properties, which he joined in June 2000, with similar
responsibilities. Since 1994, Mr. Brockwell has overseen the acquisition, value enhancement and
disposition of real estate with a value in excess of $4.5 billion.
Mr. Brockwell came to CRT Properties after having spent the previous six years as an executive with
CRT I and CRT II, which owned and managed office buildings located throughout the southeastern
United States on behalf of numerous institutional investors.
He has been involved with institutional quality real estate for twenty years. Mr. Brockwell began his
career with Cushman & Wakefield in 1986 and went on to work for the real estate subsidiary of
Equitable Life before taking his first position with Crocker & Company in 1994.
Mr. Brockwell holds a Bachelor's degree in economics from Villanova University.
Angelo J. Bianco
Senior Vice President
Mr. Bianco directs development and management of all Crocker Partners' partnership business in the
State of Florida. His responsibilities include overseeing development and leasing of a $100 million,
300,000-square-foot Class A office tower, sourcing development and acquisition opportunities and
overseeing all asset management, property management and leasing functions in Florida.
Prior to Crocker Partners, Mr. Bianco held the position of Senior Vice President with CRT Properties.
During his tenure, he directed the acquisition of 10 properties with a value of almost $425 million and
managed all Florida assets, which consisted of 10 centers comprised of 77 buildings and totaling over
2.8 million square feet.
Mr. Bianco began his career as a real estate attorney with Bachner, Tally, Polevoy & Mishner, and went
on to become a partner with Anderson Kill & Olick, P.C., both located in New York City. He worked as
counsel for Tishman Speyer Properties, concentrating on the redevelopment of Rockefeller Center in
New York City.
Admitted to the State Bar of New York in 1994, Mr. Bianco holds a Juris Doctor from the University of
Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration from George Washington University.
Christopher D. Eachus
Vice President
As a Vice President of Crocker Partners LLC, Mr. Eachus is responsible for developing and managing all partnership business in Georgia and North Carolina. His responsibilities include sourcing development and acquisition opportunities and overseeing asset management, property management and leasing functions within those states.
Prior to the formation of Crocker Partners, Mr. Eachus held the position of Assistant Vice President with the acquisitions and dispositions group at CRT Properties, which he joined in January 2003. During his tenure with CRT Properties, Mr. Eachus assisted with the purchase of over 2.1 million square feet of office space in markets throughout the southeastern United States with a total value of almost $425 million. Mr. Eachus' responsibilities included support in sourcing and analyzing potential acquisition and development opportunities in the state of Florida in addition to working with senior management to negotiate transactions and evaluate asset management strategies.
Prior to joining CRT Properties, Mr. Eachus worked in the investment banking department at Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc. in New York City within the company's Financial Sponsors Group. At Bear Stearns, he worked on a variety of transactions, including leveraged buyouts, mergers & acquisitions, asset divestitures and public/private capital raises in industries ranging from healthcare to real estate.
Mr. Eachus holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Emory University's Goizueta School of Business.
Todd J. Amara
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Amara is responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance, accounting and administration. He
previously served as Vice President of CRT Properties from June 2000 through the company's sale in
2005. At CRT Properties, his duties focused on obtaining financing for the company's acquisitions and
directing the company's corporate financial modeling, treasury functions and financial reporting.
Mr. Amara previously held the position of Assistant Treasurer and Assistant Secretary of CRT II and
Director of Financial Reporting at CRT I.
Mr. Amara began his career in public accounting at KPMG Peat Marwick in 1987 and was an Audit
Manager when he left the accounting firm to join Crocker & Company in 1994. He is a Certified Public
Accountant with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Indiana University and a
Master's of Accounting degree from Florida Atlantic University.
Jon Blunk
Senior Vice President, Leasing
A 15-year industry veteran, Mr. Blunk previously served as Trammell Crow Company's senior vice
president, director of project leasing for South Florida, where he managed the leasing team and led
the marketing and sales efforts of two Boca Raton office condominium conversion projects.
At Crocker Partners, he is responsible for directing leasing for the 300,000-square-foot CityPlace Tower
West Palm Beach.
Mr. Blunk has also served as the director of leasing for Trizec Properties, where he was responsible for
leasing the company's Chicago portfolio, including the Sears Tower, estimated at six million square feet.
In his career, Mr. Blunk has completed more than $500 million in leasing transactions and more than
$25 million in office condominium sales. He is a graduate of Illinois State University.
Walter C. Phillips III
Vice President, Director of Development
With more than 25 years of real estate development, construction and design experience, Mr. Phillips is
supervising the landmark CityPlace Tower, West Palm Beach project. As an executive at Tishman Speyer
Properties, he previously managed the design and construction of several Class A commercial projects
in Washington, D.C. and northern Virginia including 1099 New York Avenue, 1 Metro Center, 1325 G
Street, Plaza Ridge I & II and Plaza East. For more than 14 years, he has worked as or for general contractors
in the building construction industry in both base building and tenant construction.
Mr. Phillips also served as officer and principal of a multi-million dollar mid-Atlantic regional glass and
glazing subcontractor. He is a registered civil engineer with significant experience in engineering site
development and roadway construction projects, specifically in the D.C. Metro area, and a graduate of
University of Maryland with a Bachelor's of science degree in civil engineering.
William J. Wedge, Esq.
General Counsel
Mr. Wedge is responsible for overseeing all legal matters of the company. He previously held the
position of Senior Vice President and General Counsel of CRT Properties from March 2004 through
the company's sale in September 2005.
Before joining CRT Properties, Mr. Wedge was for nearly 20 years, Senior Vice President and Tax
Counsel at Boston Properties, Inc. where he structured some of the largest and most complex real
estate transactions in the United States. From 1997 to 2003, he worked on acquisitions with a total
value of approximately $5 billion, including Boston's Prudential Center, San Francisco's Embarcadero
Center and New York's Citicorp Center. Mr. Wedge is an expert on the federal income tax and corporate
implications of real estate transactions.
Mr. Wedge is a member of the Bars of the State of Florida and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
He holds a Master's and Bachelor's of Taxation from Boston University School of Law, a Juris
Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College.
